Monkstown will wonder how they did not pick up a result after having a mass of chances and possession. Fingal appeared to score with every break they had as Monkstown may rue attacking with too many numbers. Fingal led throughout, taking a 3-1 advantage into the break. Town equalised with about 15 minutes to go before were sucker punched a minute later for the decisive seventh goal of the game. ReplyDeleteHow anyone can select a lienster team and not have D Bane in it is beyond me!!!! Also I would have B Parsons in there. It's not always individual performances that make great teams.
ReplyDeleteOn another note, I was at the Monkstown v Fingal game yesterday, crazy game. How Monkstown didn't win is beyond me. Fingal I think have won the last 5 in a row now against the town and they must love playing out there. For all their technical flaws Fingal know how to never give up and battle battle battle.
