Glenanne 5 (Stephen Butler 2, Shane O'Donoghue 2, Gary Shaw) Fingal 1 (Adrian Sweeney)Glenanne moved into third place on their own with a handsome win over Fingal to give the top of the table a familiar look as the top three look to separate themselves from the pack again.
Stephen Butler scored from two corners - one directly and one from the second phase - while Shane O'Donoghue added to his growing reputation. Gary Shaw netted his first of the season.
Adrian Sweeney got the sole response, stealing off Joe Brennan - who otherwise kept his good run of form going - at the top of the circle to score.
saw the glens game and thought they looked very smart, credit to fingal they did push hard but cudnt get a sniff at the glens goal but the glens seem to be putting some form together......
ReplyDeleteGlens are really getting some form together, a win against either Pemrobke or Three Rock will put them in very good position

Glenanne aren't hitting form....they are just a good side.
ReplyDeleteThe sooner people realise this the better.
"Glenanne had their chance to Bet TRR on saturday !!! - and they didnt"
ReplyDeleteOh yeah I forgot they only get one chance a season..
TRR had there chance to beat Glens on Saturday and didn't. Does that mean 3RR are a poor side?
Nobody said that glenanne were a bad side - the poster i assume was just suggesting that the remarks of ""if glenanne beat TRR "" are silly
ReplyDeleteSeeing as you played TRR the day before & drew with them !!!
