Trinity 1 (Claire Hearnden) UCD 1 (Lisa Jacob)In the battle of the students, Trinity picked up their first point of the season to add to their recent impressive cup win and show they could make a charge to pull themselves out of the current plight.
UCD had more possession and more corners, one of which was converted by Lisa Jacob - though this may have been touched in by the pusher-out. But Trinity showed an appetite for the battle and levelled through captain Claire Hearnden who then had a late one-on-one chance to snatch the win but ofund her effort blocked.

A draw with UCD, a smashing victory against Genesis, and then a draw with Pembroke today... looks like Trinity are finally getting the results they deserve! Let's hope it continues!
ReplyDeleteAnd yeah, it was the pusher out who scored for UCD; got a touch on a lowish drag flick from the top.
