The division between All-Ireland challengers and those at the bottom was ruthlessly exposed this weekend, with Pembroke, Fingal, with hat-tricks from Adrian Sweeney (pictured) and Mick McGuinness, and Rovers hammering UCD, Bray and Kilkenny respectively. Glenanne’s impressive 5-1 win over Monkstown, though, will have the most long-term impact. The Town’s impressive start to the season was brought to an abrupt halt by the title holders, in a match expected to have been closer Corinthian’s first win of the season moves them clear of the bottom three: Bray, UCD and YMCA who all remain pointless.
Results: Fingal 9-0 Bray; Kilkenny 2-6 TRR; Monkstown 1-5 Glenanne; Pembroke 8-1 UCD; YMCA 2-4 Corinthian
