Railway breezed past Genesis and will be confident going into their match against Hermes, who could only manage a draw with Trinity, on October 27th in a top of the table tussle. Trinity, for their part, have had their best start to a season in a long while, beating arch rivals UCD on Monday night.
Results: (Sat) Pembroke 1-0 Old Alex, Hermes 0-0 Trinity, Loreto 2-1 Corinthian, UCD 0-0 TRL, Genesis 0-5 Railway Union; (Mon) Trinity 1-0 UCD
