Wesley and St Andrew's will contest tomorrow's Senior schoolboy's final after the Ballinteer school beat High School 4-1 on Monday afternoon.
It means Wesley will have the major momentum going into the tie after four games in a week but may well feel the fatigue from their efforts with a number of players also involved in Irish U-18 trials on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Sutton Park's U-13s broke the Andrew's/Wesley duoploy and end the possibility that each final would be contested by the 'big two'. Sutton won 2-1 on Monday after extra-time against Wesley. Max Miller and Wesley's Luke Madeley exchanged goals before Aodhan Fee won the tie in the last minute of extra-time.
In the senior schoolgirl's competition, Loreto Beaufort kept their chances of retaining their title alive with a 1-0 win Mount Sackville. Sarah Barnwell scored the only goal of the game to set up a final showdown on Thursday against St Andrew's.
Wednesday final schedule (Grange Road):
12pm: Developing school's blitz
2pm: Minor final - Wesley College vs St Andrew's (Umpires: Scott Crombie, Dean Maguire)
3.45pm: Senior final - St Andrew's vs Wesley (Umpires: Kieran Bolger, Andrew Groves)

great to see sutton through .. very exciting game the other day .. Well done lads and of course Mr. Stewart and MR. Walsh !
Although you have to admire the work been done in Wesley and St Andrews at every schoolboy level, it is good to see other schools breaking through and reaching cup finals. Well done Sutton Park U-13's and the best of luck in the final next Wednesday 11th March.
Cmon the andrews! Going for the double, and still in every boys cup competition. Junior Boys semi final on Friday in Andrews anyway. Could be a good game though, Mt Temple has a strong team this year.
Whatever happens today though, it will be one hell of a game.
Its good to know that someone can beat the Duo.
Steve could you let us know the result of the developing schools blitz?
Andrews for the double, again.
Andrew's won the U14 final today 3-2 in extra time.
Wesley won the senior final 3-0.
