I thought rory o'donoghue was coaching the glens at the club championships. Sounds like a conflict of interest to me. I would be furious if i was playing for monkstown.

ANYONE GET THE LORETO JOB YET

rory was there to help the club out because of some issues just before the euro's, as monkstown were not in either and there season was over it was no were near a conflict of interests for either party...he was also only the assist coach at the town so he helped out a club hes been with for years, and if there was any conflict rory would be the sort of guy not to take on the work with the glens

corinthians got a good deal in my opinion they where missing a good stricker last season, and now they have a good stricker and a very good coach. they may cause a few upsets next year.
they where one of the only teams to take points of rover and pembroke last season.

As always alot of coach movement among clubs but there is still a lack of talented Irish coaches around at the moment. How can we get the coaching standard in this country to higher level without relying on these talented foreign coaches to develop our game?

The coaching courses are good...the problem is that any muppet can pass, you basically just buy the certificate. The IHA need to acknowledge and promote domestic coaching talent and not swoon over foreign c.v's.

Looking forward to seeing Messers Blennerhassett and Sutton getting well stuck in to Lucas next season.
