Bray brought themselves right back into contention to avoid coming last in division one as they beat Pembroke at Loreto, Bray on Sunday and move within range of their opponents who remain locked in ninth place as a result. Hilda Maguire had given the 'Broke a first half lead but Sarah Coleman tied the game up from a well-worked short corner. And their battling qualities were rewarded when Cathy Brock nabbed the winner with ten minutes to go, slapping in after Linda O'Neill's pass found her on the left post. The win also brings Glenanne back within reach, making their midweek tie in St Mark's a vital, six-pointer.
