Wesley won a cracking game of hockey 6-3.. They took an early lead only for mt temple to hit back..Wesley then extended lead to 3-1 at ht. MOunt temple fought back to 3-3 and were looking very good but were unfortunate to concede a very scrappy stroke with 9mins to go. That hit them hard, wesley scored there last 2 goals in last minute when mount temple had taken the gk off to try.
great game played at a very high standard.
well done to both teams

Will Mayfest Champions from lastyear make a repeat win this year?!?! What was it they were called again? Something to do with Robbie MacFarlane...

Is there anyway it could become a June fest?
With competitions still bing contested at this time, surely they are eliminating potential teams from entering?

I agree. Mayfest will be a much lesser event this year if it goes ahead in May.

The version last year in the last week in June actually had the lowest entry in quite a while after moving from the May bank holiday weekend.

All Leinster league stuff will be finished at that point (some teams by well over a month).

The elite, IHL teams will be involved in competition but everything else is finished so it makes sense.
