St Andrew's and Wesley are through to the Leinster Schoolboy's Senior Cup final as they comfortably negotiated their semi-finals, putting an end to the odyssey's of High School and Kilkenny, respectively this afternoon.
Andrew's raced into a 3-0 lead against High School, scoring three counter-attack goals from Sam Spence, Fiachra Maher and David Watkins as they pounced with speed. Richard Sykes fired home from play before half-time and added a spectacular drag-flick in the second half to complete the win.
Gareth Carragher performed some brilliant saves thereafter for a game High School who end their season with heads held high.
Wesley, meanwhile, had too much for Senior Trophy winners, Kilkenny, taking the laurels 6-1. The Senior final will take place next Wednesday in Grange Road, along with the Minor final between Newpark and Wesley.
St Andrew's and Wesley also qualify for the John Waring 'super sixes' competition.
