Tasty. There's some cracking matches in the bag there. Only 1 team not from the north? It's up to the brook now and the odds are against them. I love the IJC!!

"odds are against them" what are you talking about? they're unbeaten in i don't know how many games now. they will prob go on and win another few trophies this year, including the IJC

i think he was referring to the fact they have been drawn away. I would still fancy them to win but i played against Cookstown earlier in the comp and they are a seriously good side and Annadale are always strong so it is still wide open

Well what I meant was this:

To win it they're going to have to beat 3 seriously good sides on the bounce. All away ties, as the final is at a "neutral" venue so is essentially an away trip for both teams. Banbridge are the one's that will give them the toughest test assuming they get past Inst this wkend. Coupled with the fact that the IJC games are the only tough games they play all year and they don't have a recognised short corner specialist, I reckon that they are going to have it tough and that the odds are definitely stacked against them.

what rubbish!!!
the pembroke team would hold its own in div 1...the amount of big teams they have beaten over the past few years and done it with ease, and to say that the odss are against them!!

I will admit that an away draw isnt ideal but i fancy pwhc to have a clean sweep again this year unless something drastically goes wrong.

and last year they won it without a short corner specialist and its the exact same sqaud as last year without byron dunne!!!

i don't particularly want them to win but my money would still be on Pembroke

I agree with the odds comment actually now that I think about it. I think you'll find they are missing a few key players. Ronan Flannery is injured, Scott Furlong too, and Byron Dunne. All three were involved in their short corner routine last year. It's going to be tough for them, make no mistake.

Difficult one this for pembroke, timing stripped them of most of the players that won them the title - with Symons, Gormley, D Harte, Lewis, Fulton mainstays last year.

They obviosuly didn't do much training for it, though. Pity as other clubs take the comp reasonably seriously and would have done better.

Rovers probably take it more serious than most and look like they understand the game better than anyone else in Leinster so good luck to them

i think ul find harte played in serbia and doran was playing when they won the title. Disappointed they did so badly

eh, think the last two comments are about the indoor and not the IJC.
