Club Championships: Day Two

Hermes got their Club Championships campaign back on track with a 5-1 win over Cork C of I, with schoolgirl Anna O'Flanagan scoring a hat-trick and Fiona Connery getting two. Loreto's 2-0 win sees them through to the semi-finals with a game to spare with Nikki Symmons and Nicky Keegan with the goals against Ballymoney.

Their second successive win means they are through while Ballymoney and Hermes have a straight decider for the second semi-final berth.

In pool A, tournament favourites Pegasus sealed their semi-final place with a 3-0 win over Railway Union - goals from Jill Orbinson, Suzanne Beaney and Claire McMahon.

Railway stay in second place in the group as Armagh drew with Cork Harlequins to register a point apiece.

Anyone of those three could still go through. Harlequins need a win against Pegasus, though, and results to go their way. The other fixture sees Mick McKinnon's charges take on his old club, Armagh.
