Fingal's hopes of an All-Ireland league spot took a positive turn as they beat Bandon 3-2 to look in good shape to claim one of the two remaining All-Ireland league spots.
They must now wait on Monday's match between Inst and Bandon, with the Cork side needing a solid win to deny Fingal.
After a nervy opening 15 minutes, Fingal led first through David Bane's corner, before trailing after Alister Smith's double - one from a corner switch and a fabulous reverse.
But Trevor Parsons levelled matters from seven yards out to get the North Dubliners back on terms. A much less free-flowing second half saw Fingal gain the upper hand but looked a little light up front but got their just rewards with 130 seconds remaining when Adrian Sweeney netted in a goalmouth scramble - poking home as his team-mates screamed for a corner to be awarded.

What do you mean ended - there are two wildcard slots from three so this puts them in a good position to pick up the second slot. Although should Bandon happen to beat Instonians then Fingal would be out on goal difference.
Woops, sorry about that. was completely off the ball for this one. I'll amed the story accordingly in a second.
