Men's Division One
Fingal 2 (Mark Ryan, David Bane) Glenanne 8 (Eddie O'Malley 2, Stephen Butler 2, Mick McGuinness 2, Johnny Goulding, Gary Shaw)
Glenanne gave Fingal a lesson in finishing at ALSAA this afternoon as they began their double-weekend in style, blasting four goals in each half to jump ahead of Sunday's opponents, Monkstown. The airport side did have their chances but, ultimately succumbed to Glenanne's array of attacking options with Mick McGuinness (pictured) on target twice against his old club. Six of the goals came from play with one corner converted and Stephen Butler netting a stroke. Mount Temple schoolboy Mark Ryan scored in the first half while his teacher, David Bane, netted a second half corner for the consolation strikes.
** Glenanne's tie with Monkstown on Sunday was moved today from 11am to 12pm in Glenanne Park.

Fingal need to remove some of the sand from their pitch as the friction seriously reduces the ball speed.
its the worst pitch in senior hockey by a huge distance
Cracking Showers though.
great bowling ally
They should play the matches on the football pitch. Problem Solved.
