Sutts and Avoca leaves Division Two wide open

Men's Division Two
Avoca 2 (Stephen Brownlow, Jamie Clabburn) Weston 1 (Dean Maguire)
Jamie Clabburn's last minute strike means no 100pc records remain in division two after just five games this term - giving an idea of the competitiveness that remains between the remaining six.

Stephen Brownlow's drag-flick was cancelled out by Dean Maguire's strike but Clabburn nicked against the run of play late on to take the win and a first set of three points this season.

Suttonians 1 (Darrell Reamsbottom) Dublin University 0
Darrell Reamsbottom's early goal was enough to secure a first win of the season for Suttonians and sees them lead the way after two weekends of the season. His side enjoyed the best of the first half but were put under serious pressure in the second half; holding out two corners on the final whistle to maintain the clean sheet and the win.

well done lads great result. 1-0 against the so called favourites for promotion. should make a few people think twice about predictions.

interesting to see. sutton beaten trinty after last weeks results. heard weston had the best of chances but a bad play from attacking shorts let them down

was at the avoca weston game. great action up and down the park. I'd say weston feel robbed considering the pressure and corner count they had in second half.
