Corinthian last night had their appeal to the Leinster Branch Management Committee against their expulsion from the Mills Cup upheld and have therefore been re-instated in the competition.
The club were initially thrown out of the competition due to a registration issue during their 7-1 win over Dublin University but are now in the clear to play Glenanne at the quarter-final stage.
No date has, as yet, been set for the next round.

This is a joke! Fingal were thrown out of the IJC for a similar offence. I know they are two separate competitions but it just goes to show how badly each organisation is run. After the shambles of the IHL matches and now this, each branch will need to overhaul their rule book for the start of next season.
With this issue, I'm awaiting full clarification of what the alleged breach of rules was and how the appeal was upheld.
I'll report more information if I get it.
What an amazing decision.Committee elected to control registrations has its decision overturned.Cant wait to hear explanations about this I am sure Glenanne and Dublin Univ .will have more to say about this.
Registrations are a Black and White issue,You are either registrated as per written rules or not.
God help us what a mess.
Fingal were thrown out of IJC for playing a player who was registered on their ISC team. Corinthians did nothing wrong. They got 2 new players and registered them, hence the decision has been reversed;...
if CHC had the 2 players registered correctly why was there ever an issue
