Pembroke's bid for three-in-a-row gets underway this weekend with a tricky away tie up in Kilkeel as they bid to keep their incredible winning streak going. A quadruple in the 2006/07 season was followed by a treble last year - only for the fact the Wright-Carey Cup was not contested it may have been four again.
The side, though, may find the going a little tougher this time out as medallists from last year Stephen O'Keeffe has moved to UCD, Patrick Good to YMCA while Alan Giles is now skippering the firsts. They still possess one of the best squads in the competition but have picked up just one win in their first four outings in the league.
Other highlights on the men's side are Cookstown's hosting of Banbridge and the preliminary fixture between Cork C of I and Annadale. Weston are the first team to advance after UCC withdrew.

Is Paudie Carley still playing for pembroke ?
Top of the table YMCA off to a good start with a 3-1 win against a surprisingly good Belfast team... Goals from Gary Ryan, Josh Purcell and Jamie Tobin... Although man of the match had to go to centre mid Geoff Walker who had a great game!
cookstown off to a flyer with a very easy win (3-1)over a weak banbridge.
