O'Donoghue names Leinster U-18 squad

Tom O'Donoghue has selected a Leinster U-18 side full of Leinster league experience for this weekend's girl's interprovincial tournament in Garryduff. The former UCD coach has picked quite a diverse squad with eight clubs and ten different schools represented.

Mount Sackville's Orla Fox captains the side and is one of three players from the Phoenix park school to make the team. Fox has been playing regularly with Pembroke's first team this season as has vice-captain Alice Ward. Already with club champions medal in their pockets, Chloe Watkins and Gillian Pinder are joined by four other Hermes' players while Loreto left-back Sinead McGirr is another with division one experience.

Genesis' Becky Vaughn and Naas' Caroline Hill are two players showing there is talent outside the division one clubs. Connacht field Trinity's Irene Gorman in the competition while Munster's Mary-Kate Trevor is another Leinster-based inclusion.
