Pembroke made it three wins from three to qualify for the final of the EuroHockey Trophy at Serpentine Avenue with a more comfortable victory over the group's bottom side, Dinamo Olimpik VSM.
They did so without the services of Conor and David Harte who had to travel home for a family bereavement, giving former Sandford Park goalkeeper Simon Thornton a first start of the tournament.
Goals from Alan Sothern and Alan Giles built up a 2-0 lead before Viacheslav Makhotkov pulled one back from the penalty spot in the 27th minute but within 60 seconds Maurice Elliott restored the advantage.
A further pair for Giles and one from Gordon Elliott stretched the lead to 6-1 before Viacheslav Pazluk got a consolation for the Ukranians but Paddy Conlon popped up with the seventh with four minutes left as Olimpik picked up two late yellows to finish with nine players.
Pembroke now face Russian side Dinamo Elektrostal in the final at 3.15pm in Serpentine Avenue.
In Lille, Pegasus came within five minutes of topping their group in the EuroHockey Club Cup Winners Trophy. Michelle Harvey gave Pegs the lead from the penalty spot in the 45th minute as Victorya Smolevichi, from Belarus, were down to ten players.
However, with the Belorussians down to ten once more, Nastia Shcharbakova scored from play to level in the 65th minute for a draw. Both sides progress to the twin finals on Monday with Pegasus facing Russian side Kommunalschik Barnaul at 2.45pm (CET).
