Why, is it that on Thursday the U16's boys and girls games clash with the Ireland A matches. Would hockey fans not be able to enjoy both games if organised appropriatly.

Also Senior Womens match on Thursday clashes with the Pembroke match in the Euros so again Fans have to make a choice? Well done IHA organisers, another example of the levels of brain power involved!!!!

Hope you are suitably embarassed 5.59. Euros start Friday, I suspect the timing of games possibly has more to do with flight plans etc. for the Belgian teams. With very tight budgets international teams have to do the best they can so avoiding an unnecessary nights accomodation would be big for the belgians as it would for the irish going the other direction. Hockey fans are a rare breed given the paltry attendances at most games in this country so I don't think it is a factor to try and balance time to satisfy the 30 people that might try and double up.
