Connacht have won their first ever Inteprovincial title at underage level in Galway today. Connacht, Leinster and Ulster all finished on 9 points but Connacht with a better goal difference were crowned ESB U16 champions for the first time in their province’s history. The result denies Leinster a clean sweep of the schools interprovincial title.

It was great to see so many talented U16s play in Galway at the weekend. Kids with good individual ball skills and a well developed understanding of the game.
