ESB Women’s ISC – Quarter Finals
In the women’s ISC on Saturday, it has reached the quarter final stage with plenty of appetising encounters. Railway will be hoping to bounce back after last week’s setback against Pembroke while Hermes make the long journey up north once again to face Ballymoney. Holders Pegasus should have too much for Randalstown as should Loreto on their home turf.
Ballymoney vs Hermes (Joey Dunlop Centre, 2.30);
Loreto vs Victorians (Beaufort, 1.15)
Pegasus vs Randalstown (Queens, 1.00)
Railway Union vs Cork C of I (Park Avenue, 2.00)
The Semi Final Draw will take place on the 5th January.
Men’s ISC Fourth Round
YM will have their work cut out for them this weekend as they face the new leaders in Ulster. Cookstown smashed the previous incumbents Banbridge 4-0, with the result bringing both Annadale and Lisnagarvey back into the fray. Glenanne and Annadale face off for their yearly encounter in the ISC – it is now four year’s running they’ve faced each other, with Glenanne 2-1 up in the series. Other tight ones to call include Monkstown and Kilkeel, Monkstown lost out 5-4 a few years back to the coastal side but will hopefully do the business on home turf while Fingal could equally use home advantage to overcome Garvey side that is coming into form.
Monkstown V Kilkeel (Rathdown, 1.30); Three Rock Rovers V Dublin University (Grange Road, 2.30); PSBPP V Cork Harlequins (RCSI, 1.00); Bray V Pembroke Wanderers (Loreto Bray, 1.30); Glenanne V Annadale (St Marks 2.15); Fingal V Lisnagarvey (ALSAA, 2.00); YMCA V Cookstown (Claremont Rd, 1.30); Instonians V Bandon (Shawsbridge, 1.00)
