Men's League Results

Fingal 2 (Aidan Sweeney, Glen Shekleton) Glenanne 1 (Joe Brennan)

Despite pulling out all the stops to beat Glenanne, Fingal missed out on the final automatic All-Ireland league spot in the cruellest manner. They beat the Glens, missing Stephen Butler, taking a 2-0 lead before Joe Brennan's drag-flick narrowed the gap. They were, however, denied fourth place on by Monkstown. Both sides finished level on points but fourth place was decided on games won.

UCD 2 (Glenn Holmes, Robbie McFarlane) Monkstown (Filip Jaros, Simon Groves, Gareth Watkins, Ian Allen, Francis Lee)
Monkstown took a while to click into gear and trailed 2-0 at one point with their All-Ireland league spot looking in jeopardy. But goals from the stars of last week's ISC win, Watkins and Allen, as well as Jaros, Simon Groves and Lee sealed the win and fourth place. UCD will now face Suttonians, provisionally, set for next Sunday at 330pm.

YMCA 3 (Geoff Walker, Andrew Walker, Richard Pedreschi) Bray 2 (Simon Cox, Jamie Crawford)
Bray sniffed their first win of the season, leading 2-1 going into the closing stages against YMCA before they were saved by relative veteran Andy Walker and Richard Pedreschi.

Kilkenny 2 (Hugh Kelly, Tom Manning) Corinthian 7 (Lucas Piccioli 2, Robbie Byrnes 2, Chris Pelow, Brian Doherty, Jack Kirwan)
Corinthian ended a season that showed much promise in style in Kilkenny, running out 7-2 winners. The club pushed a number of the top five close on occasion but were not able to translate this into vital league points. For Kilkenny, they can be proud of their return to division 1, having targeted other sides near the bottom of the league effectively.
