Weekend highlights

In the Irish Senior Cup semi finals, Pembroke back the Harte twins and Paddy Conlon who missed last week’s narrow win over Corinthian. Monkstown, meanwhile, are in their first final four encounter since 1979.

On the league front, Glenanne begin their preparations for the All-Ireland championships against Bray. The Glens cannot be caught in third and a win will officially relegate the Wicklow side. Pembroke Wanderers play Fingal on Sunday where a win would see them back on top of division 1.

The ESB May Costley final takes place on Saturday when Clonmel take on Dromore at 2.00 in UCD. One of Clonmel's members will be arriving in style as her child's confirmation takes place the same day; a local business man is flying her up in a helicopter to Dublin to ensure she doesn't miss her final.
