Pembroke's young charges advanced to the final of the U-21 cup when they beat YMCA last Sunday. Scott Furlong scored the only goal of the game, appearing to take Iain Walker by surprise with his low drag-flick.
YM started the stronger and had the clearer chances in a scrappy game while Pembroke looked dangerous through Alan Sothern - who along with Stuart Loughrey and Tim Lewis made the short trip down the road after their encounter for the firsts against Corinthian.
But the game was decided by Furlong's flick - a welcome reward for a player who has spent much of the season out injured.
Glenanne made it into the semi-final at the weekend, beating Trinity 3-1, Shane O'Donoghue scoring a penalty before late goals from Cathal Donohoe and Clive Kennedy sealing the tie.
They will play Three Rock in the last four. Rovers beat the reigning champions. Stephen Roberts scored the opener, assisted by Graeme McDonnell before Jack Kirwan equalised. Ali Haughton and Mitch Darling made it 3-1 in the second half before Brian Doherty tightened the game up again.
Darling, though, got the crucial fourth before Karl Eggert scrambled home a corner for Corinthian to make it 4-3 with the last play of the game.
