Hermes open up a busy five days, playing Trinity in Santry on Wednesday night (8pm) which could see them take the lead outright temporarily. The sides drew earlier this season, though, so the Jacqui Potter cup winners will not take the students lightly.
Saturday sees Pembroke play Loreto and Railway Union finish their campaign against Trinity before the final game of the season could decide the ultimate destiny of the title takes place on Monday night when long-time leaders Pembroke face Hermes in UCD.
Division 2 should prove a slightly simpler affair on Tuesday, April 1. Bray need one point to move into an unassailable lead to moev up to the top division for the first time.
