Women's Round-Up

Genesis 0 Pembroke 4
Pembroke maintain their five point lead at the top of the table until Monday night when Hermes have a chance to reduce the deficit using some delightfully innovative corner moves to do the damage. The key match looks set to be their showdown with Hermes on March 15 but also face tough matches at Loreto and Railway too to claim the title.

Railway Union 5 Corinthian 2
Hermes 2 UCD 0
Old Alex 1 Loreto 2
The chasing pack mean that Railway, Hermes and Loreto all remain in with a title shout if Pembroke slip up in the final three games in what is still one of the most tense title races. Hermes play Trinity on Monday night in Santry.

TRL 2 Trinity 1
Three Rock moved clear of Genesis at the bottom with their first win of the season to move them six clear of the basement side. They needed a penalty stroke in the final ten minutes to beat the students whose faint hopes of fifth place now look dead and buried.
