Pembroke got their EuroHockey Cup winners trophy off to a stunning start with an emphatic win over Welsh side Penarth. They lead the group now by two points as their group rivals Slavia Praha and HC Moscow Region drew in Gent to put the Ballsbridge side in pole position.
