*Amy Stewart was honoured as one of Ireland's most promising sporting prospects at the Irish Examiner National Junior Sports Stars Awards 2007 at a ceremony in Dublin.

*Munster claimed the men's junior interpros for the third time in four years. They finished ahead of Leinster by a point. Ulster won the women's competition with Leinster in third.
*The FIH has appointed Christophe Troendle as its Director General. The 42-years old Swiss is the successor of the current FIH Executive Director Hans Bertels, who after 13 years officially retires at the end of March. Troendle will start his work at the FIH on 1 May 2008
*Ireland’s nomination for the Eurohockey Quality Club Award has been announced. Grosvenor HC has won the coveted nomination in a very tight contest and has been submitted to the EHF for consideration.
*All Youth Leaders that wish to continue to develop their coaching skills have been invited to the ‘Introduction to Tactics’ course taking place at 9.30am in UCD on March 30th. Whilst all other members of the hockey community will be paying €20, all Youth Leaders have been invited free of charge.
