Men's Division One: Kilkenny 2 Pembroke 6

Kilkenny 2 (Tom Manning, Peter Yeates) Pembroke 6 (Gordon Elliott 2, Alan Sothern 3, Ronan Gormley)

Pembroke moved a step closer to reclaiming the Leinster title while Kilkenny moved a step closer to relegation at Kilkenny College this afternoon.

Irish internationals past and present got the goals for Pembroke with Gordy Elliott getting a brace, Alan Sothern yet another hat-trick and Ronan Gormley the other.

The win means Pembroke will win the title should they beat Monkstown on April 18. That assumes Glenanne beat YM and UCD in their back matches, the former taking place on Thursday night. Any slip ups and the 'Broke could have title in the bag even sooner.
