Men's Division One: YMCA 6 Railway Union 4

YMCA 6 (Josh Pucell, Jacob Webber 3, Mikey Fry, Richie Pedreschi) Railway Union 4 (David Holmes 3, Kevin Wong)
A lively Sandymount derby had very much an end of season feel to it at Claremount Road as YM and Railway served up ten goals. Josh Purcell got the ball rolling before 15-year-old Kevin Wong cracked in a reverse to make it 1-1 - profiting from Ted Lynch's retrieval of Peter English's huge overhead.

Paddy Good's cross, stepped over by Richie Pedreschi, left Mikey Fry with the simplest of tap-ins to make it 2-1 30 seconds before the break. Jacob Webber's hat-trick and a Pedreschi strike were counteracted by David Holmes' hat-trick as the lead extended to 5-1 then back to 5-3 before a late exchange of goals.
