Irish Trophy and Junior Cup draws made

The newly revamped Irish Cup competitions now have their first set of fixtures available. The Irish Hockey Trophy, which offers places in the Irish Senior Cup proper for it's four semi-finallists, sees three Leinster derbies with Bray facing Naas, Avoca against Suttonians and Weston hosting Navan.

Trinity face a tricky journey up to Armagh while Clontarf have probably the hardest draw against recent quarter-finalists in the ISC, Kilkeel.

The draws were also made for the men's and women's juniro cup with the mouth-watering prospect of Cork C of I playing Harelquins in the first round proper. Either way that match will be a cracker as CI must first host Annadale, meaning some high profile casualties in the early stages.
