Navan 0 Suttonians 5 (Nasir Munir 3, Mark Guerin 2)
The Navan Badgers felt the full brunt of Nasir Munir's return from suspension as the player-coach clocked up a hat-trick as Suttonians began their division two campaign in impressive style.
They raced into a 4-0 half-time lead, adding one more in the second half and hitting the post for good measure. Mukhtar Ahmed returns to the side next week while Yasir Islam should be back in the fold in the coming weeks, too.
Clontarf 6 (Gareth Borland 2, Luke Hayden, Tom Noonan, John Lennon, Rob Abbott) Naas 1 (Colin Davenport)
Clontarf took just three minutes to get their campaign up and running when Luke Hayden latched onto a through ball to round the keeper and 1-0. But the lead lasted just five minutes before Colin Davenport levelled. After that, though, it was one way traffic, with John Lennon and Tom Noonan building up a 3-1 half-time lead. Two Gareth Borland strikes and Rob Abbott's (pictured) reverse made it six.
Skerries 3 (Ronan Gannon, Alan Earley, Sean Lawlor) Avoca 1 (J Wilkie)
In a sense, Avoca will wonder how they did not get something out of the game despite going 3-0 behind. They clocked up 10 corners and enjoyed large patches of possession but failed to score until the closing minute of the game.
Skerries, meanwhile, took most of their chances well. Ronan Gannon got the first from a corner switch, Alan Earley's straight shot at another corner made it 2-0 and Sean Lawlor shook off making a hames of a one-on-one to net the third. Ezra Handelman hit a post before Avoca finally got on the score-sheet.

Yes Good to see reports from the Div 2 Games. I think the league might be a little closer this year but Sutts looking strong along with clontarf
It was actually Scott Wilkie who scored for Avoca!
