The first round of the IJC was completed with Ashton the last name to go into the draw for the second round of the competition as they produced the goods in the second half to beat Clontarf.
Goals from Catherine McCarthy, Jenny Coughlan and Aoife Duggan did the damage and Ashton will now join fellow Munster women UCC, C of I and Harlequins in the hat. Leinster still has interest in the competition with Three Rock Ladies, Trinity, Hermes, Railway, UCD and Old Alex.
